I have multiple moniters running but the image saved is only of my desktop window
The image capture code depends on what Windows considers to be your desktop. If Windows treates all of you moniters as part of you desktop window, then the image captured will be all whatever is displayed on all of your moniters. Otherwise, it will only capture what appears on your desktop window. Although there is not a fix to this as of yet, one solution is to move all the charts you want to have captured by the program to the desktop window. If you do find that solution appealing, you can use this work around. Within the Electronic Trade Journal, right click on the form bar to get a pop-up menu. Then select image from the menu (<ctrl> + i will also bring up the form). From there, select Capture -> Object and select the chart/window you want to save. You can also select Capture -> Window which will capture the last active window before you selected the Image window. Then save the image and proceed to the Trade Details window to upload and save your new image.
I have a daily chart in bitmap form. Is there a way to convert it so it is not so large?
This is actually very simple. Within the Electronic Trade Journal, right click on the form bar to get a pop-up menu. Then select image from the menu (<ctrl> + i will also bring up the form). From there, click on File -> Open ( <ctrl> + o ) and locate the image you want to convert. The image types supported are JPeg (.jpeg, .jpg), Bitmap (.bmp), Icon (.ico), and Png (.png). Once the image is open, click File -> Save As and change the extension to one of the supported image types. This allows for an image to be converted from one format to another very easily.
I just trade futures and I want to be able to represent a point in terms of dollars (ie NQ = $20). How can I do that?
To do this, click Properties and then select the tab Categories. Next, enter the symbol (like NQ) into the Symbol edit box and then click the button in the upper right corner. Now, enter the dollar value (1 is the default) for the point into the field Mult and click Update. Now when you view the reports, you will see that all trades of the entered symbol will multiple the dollar values by the value you entered.
I have paid for the program but it still tells me I need to register. How do I register it?
On the splash screen in the lower right corner, there is a link called Register. When you click it, the program will pop-up a username/password form for you to fill out. Once complete, click enter and it will submit your information to see if you have completed the registration process. If everything is in order, it will set the program up as a registered version and you will no longer have to click continue on the splash screen. If you have any problems, notfiy the Support Center immediately.
